Ada Kendall MD
Dr. Ada Luz Kendall has been a practicing pediatrician for nearly 40 years. Originally from Chile, Dr. Kendall completed her medical school and pediatric residency in Santiago, Chile. She relocated to the Detroit area after meeting and marrying her American husband, leading her to complete her second pediatric residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, where she was also selected to be chief resident.
Dr. Kendall has had the opportunity to grow her pediatric knowledge through a breadth of medical experiences including five years as a physician in a pediatric emergency department in Santiago, serving as the director of the Pediatric After-Hours Clinic at Beaumont Hospital for 20 years, acting as staff pediatrician for Cranbrook Kingswood school, and working in general pediatric practice, including Park Pediatrics since 2008. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed taking care of patients and forming strong bonds with them and their families, as well as teaching medical trainees in academic and community settings.
In her free time, Dr. Kendall enjoys traveling, reading, kayaking, knitting, taking long walks with her dog, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
